It’s a digital effects processor, so sometimes the effects can sound a bit ‘digital’ and stale, but most of the time I’m able to get a pretty warm sound out of this considering that it is digital.

Please see the year-end funding drive post in the Ensoiq subforum. Did you find this review helpful? Are often found in the EQ algorithms and the hair is because it does not always respect the Aiges. The DP4 is a great mixing tool for effects, especially if you want multiple effects at once.

I know a lot of people use them, and I see them in studios a lot, but what do you all think about them. I’m definitely more sold on one now. I’m not looking for Eventide stompboxes btw Due to the age of it I would replace the memory battery before going to nuts programming your own effects.

I missed it so much I ended up buying another one which is a non plus version. I’m a fan of modulations and reverbs and other non-linear, I love making my clothes, make flanges with delays, reverbs and delays with etc.

I’ve really only scratched the surface enslniq the DP4, but have used it enough to get a good idea of what it’s capable of doing and not doing. About 15, of these units were shipped since its introduction in But when we understood the architecture of this multi-effects, just a little logic to make the most of this machine.

One delay will synchronize with other machines, damage, but overall I liked the delay, but rather organic.

Nord Modular G2 http: I d;4 totally own two of these things and will pick up another plus some day. It is reminiscent of violinists’ discernment of tone quality in very old wooden instruments. I also ended up keeping in one setting and then changing effects patch rather than config presets.

Out of interest is ep4 DP2 just half a 4 or something completely different? There may be some differences, but I’m not aware of any major ones. The accounting and other treatments on the dynamics, I have not yet tested properly, so I can not really give an objective opinion I just threw a synth bass turns without touching the compression settings.

The space was based on a number of algorithms from the eclipse as well as other eventide boxes. I also am usually wary of multi-effects, tend to like dedicated effects, hence asking how many effects were useful, but it sounds like with the modular nature of the dp4, you can get some nice complexity For the reverberation of the voices you should use a Lexicon but it’s so much else that we forgive him not to be excellent everywhere. The delays, reverbs and modulation effects are great and the routing ability is superb, if not slightly confusing until you get used to it.

If you’re interested in hearing what it sounds like listen to sheet one, musik and recylced plastik All possibility of chaining and routing is amazing, it must be out sick stuff if you want, noise level.

There’s really sounds egg out, if you like.

Joe Bryan wrote the original Leslie rotating speaker simulator by physical modeling. It can be used as a standard processor and confined to an auxiliary table mix using presets, but it’s a shame, it’s enough to look for new ensonoq with the processor Request a new review.

I love and I want more, I would take can be a deuxime as an insert on the machines it’s really good to combine the effects of the sudden I Write a user review Ask for a user review. Sort by most recent most useful.

It’s like everything’s just a matter of habit. I use it constantly. I later developed the distortion algorithms for it to get that Hammond B3 sound. Not sure about pitchfactor although it certainly has a bucketload of pitch effects, more complex than the pitchfactor.

MUFF WIGGLER :: View topic – Thoughts on the Ensoniq DP/4

By tonight there should be two entries “feedees” by 2 busses to the console and the other two that I will use as an insert on the edges, I think. You can configure it in lots of different ways 2×2, 1×3, 4×1, 1×4, etc. Thanks for the response and the link guys. I’ve never seen a manual for the DP4, so I can’t speak about it’s make up. I fell for this multi and I look forward to really immerse myself since past over two hours this morning are really promising!
